UAB Falls to No. 51 Charlotte 6-1

CHARLOTTE – Despite winning the double point, he UAB women's tennis team fell to No. 51 Charlotte on Saturday 4-1.
On Court 1, Sydney Clarke and Maggie White made quick work of No. 23 Margaux Maquet and Lucia Quiterio by the score of 6-1. Vanessa Mellynchuk and Enya Ratkic clinched the point on Court 3 6-3.
In singles, Clarke battled before falling in a breaker to Maquet on Court 2 (3-6, 7-6, 10-8). White also had a close match against Emma Wilkins on Court 4, falling 5-7, 7-5, 10-7.

The Blazers (10-10, 2-2 C-USA) close out the regular season at Middle Tennessee (9-13, 1-5 C-USA) on April 16. UAB will return to Murfreesboro April 21-24 for the 2022 Conference USA Championships.
