UAB Continues West Coast Swing at Desert Mountain Collegiate

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's golf team continues its west coast road swing this Saturday and Sunday, March 5-6, at the Desert Mountain Collegiate hosted by the University of Michigan in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The Blazers will compete this weekend against a field that includes Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Grand Canyon, Lipscomb, Little Rock, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Santa Clara, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois, ULM and UTEP.
The field will play the Outlaw Course at Desert Mountain which is par 72 and 7,107 yards. UAB will be paired with Arkansas State, Northern Illinois and ULM for Saturday's first two rounds.
UAB will stick with its lineup of Nick Robillard, Alfie Fox, Khavish Varadan, Paul Bruce and Ethan Hagood. This lineup just placed third last week at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate and has now run its overall record to 65-15-1. The Blazers enter this week's tournament ranked No. 38 nationally.
Nick Robillard led the Blazers in Las Vegas by tying for sixth place overall as he notched his fourth top 10 finish of the season.
