UAB Baseball Set to Host Alabama at Regions Field on Wednesday

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB baseball team is set to host Alabama on Wednesday night at Regions Field for a midweek non-conference contest. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Blazers enter Wednesday's game at 13-5 overall, while the Crimson Tide is 13-8. UAB is off to a fast start, having won all five of its weekend series so far this season.
Christian Hall is leading the Blazers with a .433 batting average, while John Marc Mullin (.394) and Caleb Floyd (.364) share a team-high 28 hits.
Alabama's Tommy Seidl is leading the Crimson Tide in batting average (.378) and hits (28).
Tickets to the game on Wednesday are $10 for adults and $8 for youth (13 and under). Tickets can be purchased by clicking here or by calling the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at 205-975-UAB1.
Following the Alabama game, UAB remains in Birmingham to host Middle Tennessee for a Conference USA series this weekend at Young Memorial Field. The Blazers and Blue Raiders square off on Friday (6 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.).
