Men’s Golf Continues Action at the Schenkel Invitational

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's golf team is set to participate in the 42nd annual Schenkel Invitational this weekend, March 18-20 hosted by Georgia State at Forest Heights Country Club.
The Blazers will compete this weekend against Army, Campbell, Cincinnati, College of Charleston, Florida Gulf Coast, Furman, Georgia Southern, Iowa, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
UAB is in the midst of another fantastic season and enters this tournament with an overall record of 79-15-3 and is coming off a tournament in which they tied for first place at the Desert Mountain Collegiate. The Blazers check in at No. 39 nationally this week.
The field will play 18 holes each day. The course plays par 72 and 7,123 yards.
