Men’s Golf Set for Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's golf team looks to continue its stellar play this Monday through Wednesday, Feb. 28 – March 2, at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate hosted by Coastal Carolina at Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nev.
The Blazers enter this week's tournament as the highest ranked team in the field at No. 37. UAB will be competing against Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, High Point, Kansas City, Kentucky, Little Rock, Louisiana, Michigan, Rocky Mountain College, Utah and West Virginia.
Reflection Bay is a par 72 that plays 7,204 yards. The field will play 18 holes each day.
UAB will field the same five for a third straight tournament in Nick Robillard, Khavish Varadan, Alfie Fox, Ethan Hagood and Paul Bruce. John Racciatti will also participate as an individual.
The Blazers boast two of the better players in the nation in Khavish Varadan and Nick Robillard, who enter the week with national rankings No. 40 and No. 46, respectively. Robillard is coming off his second collegiate victory at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate.
Following Lake Las Vegas, the Blazers will travel straight to Scottsdale, Ariz., for the Desert Mountain Collegiate hosted by Michigan the following weekend, March 5-6.
