Men’s Tennis Drops Regular Season Finale at Belmont

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's tennis team dropped its final match of the regular season on Saturday afternoon in Nashville, falling 6-1 to Belmont.
The Bruins (11-3, 3-1 OVC) won the doubles point on courts two and three, while UAB (5-11, 0-3 C-USA) won the matchup on doubles court one as Vojtech Podzemny and Michal Lusovsky overcame Marko Ilic and Taisei Miyamoto, 6-3.
In singles play, Lusovsky won on court one, 6-7, 6-1, 1-0, while Belmont claimed victories on courts two through six.
UAB returns to the courts for the Conference USA Championships in Charlotte, N.C. April 23-25.
