UAB Men’s Golf Heads to Sunshine State for Hayt Invitational

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's golf team returns to action early next week, heading to the Sunshine State to play in the Hayt Invitational on Sunday and Monday, March 28-29.
The tournament, hosted by the University of North Florida, will be played at the Sawgrass Country Club. The course is a par 72 that plays 6,699 yards.
In addition to UAB, the field includes No. 1 Florida State, No. 3 Wake Forest, No. 14 Clemson, No. 15 Liberty, No. 23 South Florida, North Florida, Augusta, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville, Louisville, UCF and USC Upstate.
UAB head coach Mike Wilson will field a team that includes William Walker III, Drew Mathers, Nick Robillard, Ethan Hagood and Khavish Varadan. John Snoddy will compete as an individual.
