UAB Falls to Mississippi State 7-0

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Playing their third consecutive Power 5 school to start the spring season, the UAB women's tennis team fell to Mississippi State 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
In doubles, Dominika Hrabalova and Adela Wasserbauerova battled hard on Court 1, but fell 6-4.
The Bulldogs won all six singles matches in straight sets. Wasserbauerova faced the No. 69 player in the country, Emma Antonaki on Court 2, but fell 6-1, 7-5.
UAB's spring home opener will be Wednesday against Mercer. The match, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, will be played at George Ward Park with a noon start time.
