"Although it was not the outcome we were looking for, I'm proud of the guys and their fight," said head coach Matt Whall. "They showed some strong character today and came out fighting. We don't judge ourselves on outcomes, but more so the process and these guys have come along way so far. It's a long season and we are just a part of the way along that journey. I've learned a lot about the team and we've made some fantastic improvements. It's now time for a great off season of hard work and continued improvement then you can look for the Blazers to have a big spring semester."
The Blazers finished their fall slate with an overall record of 33-9-0. UAB will open spring competition on January 31, 2022, at the Sea Best Invitational hosted by Jacksonville in Ponte Verda Beach, Fla.Players Mentioned
