Blazers Announce 2020 Baseball Coverage Plans

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB baseball program announced its 2020 radio broadcast schedule and updated live stream information on Wednesday.
UAB radio staple David Crane will be on the call for 17 Blazer baseball games throughout the 2020 season on 1070-AM following the conclusion of UAB's men's basketball season. The broadcast schedule is subject to change due to weather, doubleheaders and other potential circumstances.

All of the Blazer home games will also be streamed on CUSA.tv with select games featured on ESPN+. Both services will require a small fee for a monthly subscription. Fans may visit Conference USA's aforementioned site directly or check the UAB schedule page for links to each game's live stream, live stats and ticket options. The UAB Baseball Twitter page will also house pertinent information leading up to each game.
The Blazers are scheduled to open the year with a home series against Notre Dame Feb. 14-16. The first two games will be played at Regions Field with the series finale being held at Young Memorial Field, all weather permitting.
UAB will look to roll into the new season riding last year's momentum after winning nine of the final 13 games, including wins over Auburn and Southern Miss. A field of 20 returners features regular starters at six positions in the field, including Conference USA Preseason All-Conference team member Zack Davis along with brother and 2019 Conference USA All-Freshman Team member Jess Davis. A total of 16 newcomers will also sport the green and gold for the first time.
The 2020 UAB Baseball schedule features 34 home games, including 23 at Regions Field. UAB will also host three SEC opponents in Auburn, Alabama and Mississippi State. The Tigers and Bulldogs are each a year removed from advancing into the 2019 College World Series.
Fans may secure baseball season tickets by purchasing the 2020 Gold Card for $65. The Gold Card is an exclusive offer that grants you admission into all baseball, softball and women's basketball events for the remainder of the academic year.
