2021 Signing Class: Aidan Moza

BIRMINGHAM — The UAB baseball program and head coach Perry Roth have announced the official signing of Aidan Moza to the Blazers' 2021 class.
"Aidan has pitched for the well-known East Cobb Braves and Coach Kevin Baldwin in the summer and has developed with them and Coach Keane at North Cobb Christian," said Roth. "This is a pitcher who is very projectable on the mound. He's one of the top 15 right-handed pitchers in Georgia.
"He is a person of high character off the field and a competitor on it. We are thrilled to announce him as part of the Blazer Baseball Family."
Moza spent his high school career at North Cobb Christian School in Dallas, Ga., where he played for head coach Jimmy Keane. He earned numerous records, including most strikeouts, lowest ERA and least amounts of hits per nine innings allowed in school history.
Moza was named to Second-Team All-Region and All-State honors in 2019 and First-Team All-Region and All-State in 2020.
"We first saw Aidan pitch in the summer leading into his junior season, and he was a no-brainer," added Roth. "He has some qualities that remind me of former Blazer greats we have had here. He has a sinking fastball that has been into the mid 90s and is a very competitive person on the mound."
