BIRMINGHAM - The UAB's men's basketball tipoff time against Marshall on Saturday has been changed to 7 p.m. due to the threat of severe weather forecasted in the area.The game will still air live on Stadium.

UAB and Marshall began their series with a nonconference home-and-home series in 2003 and 2004. The teams split the games. Their first Conference USA matchup was in 2006. The Blazers and Thundering Herd have met once in the C-USA Championship - a 53-52 win for the Herd in 2007.

Makhtar Gueye and Lewis Sullivan each tallied double-doubles to lead UAB men's to a huge 77-68 road win over Marshall on Thursday night at the Cam Henderson Center. Gueye had a career night with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Sullivan added 16 points and 10 rebounds to help UAB outscore the Herd 38-18 in the paint. Zack Bryant (14) and Jalen Perry (10) rounded out four players in double figures for the Blazers.
