BIRMINGHAM – UAB head women's tennis coach Mark Tjia has released the team's 2019-20 schedule. The Blazers will participate in six events in the Fall season followed by a 21-match Spring season. Nine of those events will be played in Birmingham.
"We are really excited about both out Fall and Spring schedules," said Tjia. "We put a couple of national events on the docket this fall to help prepare us for a demanding team schedule which includes a number of highly ranked teams to go with our traditional rivalries."
The Fall season kicks off in Midland, Texas for the Midland Intercollegiate Invitational on Sept. 13-15. This is the third consecutive season the Blazers have played in this event.
