Weather Suspends Game One Against UTSA

BIRMINGHAM – Due to severe weather moving into the Birmingham metro area, game one between the UAB baseball team and UTSA was suspended in the middle of the eighth inning at 5:44 p.m. on Thursday afternoon at Young Memorial Field.
The time to resume game one and a start time for game two will be determined based on the severity of tonight's storms after school officials can assess the playing field in the morning hours. Please check UABSports.com and the UAB baseball twitter account (@UAB_Baseball) for more details.
The Roadrunners lead the game 12-1, scoring 12 runs on 10 hits, while the Blazers have just two hits and have committed four errors thus far in the contest.
Fans who purchased a ticket to game one will have to buy another ticket for the conclusion of the contest. However, one ticket will grant access to the remainder of game one and game two tomorrow.
