Kinney Announces Summer Camp Dates

BIRMINGHAM – Entering his first season at the helm of the UAB men's soccer program, head coach Jeff Kinney has announced the 2019 UAB Soccer Academy Camp dates.
UAB will host four camps, spanning the months of May, July and August and two states as the Blazers are hosting one camp in Charleston, S.C.
"The UAB series of camps are designed to give players the opportunity to be coached and evaluated by the UAB coaching staff and other college coaches from the regions, while experiencing a top NCAA Division 1 environment," head coach Jeff Kinney said.
The first date is set for May 18 when UAB hosts a Prospect Camp at BBVA Compass Field from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The cost is $150 and is open to grades 8-12 and junior college transfers.
A day later on May 19 the Blazers will host Prospect Camp 2 in Charleston, S.C. This camp is also open to grades 8-12 and junior college transfers and costs $150.
UAB returns to BBVA Compass Field for its final two camps of the summer, hosting a pair of Overnight Academy camps July 19-21 and August 2-4. These camps are open to boys ages 12-18 and cost $450 for participants wishing to stay overnight, or $375 for campers commuting daily.
