Women’s Soccer Visits Middle Tennessee

BIRMINGHAM – UAB (4-6-6. 2-4-3 C-USA) will close out the three match road trip on Friday when they visit Middle Tennessee (7-9-1, 4-4-1 C-USA) in Murfreesboro.
THE SERIES
MT has had the upper hand in the series that dates back to 2010, winning the first five and six of the last seven matches. The Blazers recorded their first win over the Blue Raiders in 2017 when Amy Brewer scored the game winner on a helper from Lucy Thrasher. Last season, Middle scored in the 87th minutes to escape Birmingham with a 1-0 win.
UAB LATELY
UAB is coming off its sixth tie of the season after a 0-0 deadlock at Southern Miss on Sunday. The six draws doubles the most in program history when the Blazers had three ties in 2009 and 2017. Keeper Eve Beyer made a career-high 12 saves against USM.
MT LATELY
Middle Tennessee has been off since Oct. 25 when they defeated Southern Miss 5-0. The Blue Raiders got a pair of goals from Peyton DePriest, who added to her team high 14 on the season. DePriest is second in the league in goals and points (29).
