MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- Asha Zuniga recorded her first career multigoal game in the Blazers 4-2 season finale loss at Middle Tennessee on Friday night.

Middle Tennessee (8-9-1, 5-4-1) scored first in the 32^nd minute of action off a corner kick that fell into the middle of the box landing at the back of the Claire Ramet who floated it over the head of Blazers keeper Eve Beyer.

UAB (4-7-6, 2-5-3) got the equalizer seven minutes later as Zuniga netted her first goal of the night into the bottom right corner. Zuniga recorded all three of the Blazers shots in the first half, two of which were on goal.

Middle Tennessee jumped back ahead in the second half off the foot of Peyton DePriest who received the ball off the head of Sam DeBien and buried it in the bottom left corner of the net.

The Blue Raiders would increase their lead to 3-1 in the 61^st minute as DePriest scored her second goal of the night off another corner kick.

Zuniga's second goal of the night came in the 71^st minute when she sent the ball into the left corner past the Middle Tennessee keeper.

Middle Tennessee iced the match in the 87^th minute when DePriest set up Maddi Falter who made the score 4-2.

The Blue Raiders outshot the Blazers 23-9 and Beyer recorded eight saves, bringing her season total to 51.

Zuniga tied her season high in shots in a game with four and recorded a season-high in shots on goal with three. The freshman finishes the season with three goals, tied for second on the team.
