HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Eve Beyer turned away a career-high 12 shots and registered her fifth clean sheet of the season in UAB's 0-0 draw with Southern Miss on Sunday afternoon.
Beyer made seven of those saves in the second half as the Golden Eagles send 13 shots her way.
The Blazers (4-6-6, 2-4-3 C-USA) got four shots from Betsy Ornelas and 14 as a squad. Three of Ornelas' shots were on target.
USM (7-9-1, 2-6-1) fired a total of 26 shots at Beyer, but could not connect.
The Blazers had a chance to end things in the 107th minute, but Kassandra Daniel's shot went off the crossbar.
UAB remains on the road for the regular season finale at Middle Tennessee on Nov. 1.
