Sophomore forward Makhtar Gueye had a standout performance against Arkansas Monticello as well, tallying his first career double-double with 11 points 13 rebounds. It was the Blazers' fourth individual double-double of the season as he joined Lewis Sullivan (2) and Zack Bryant (1) as the three players to accomplish that feat this season.

Led by Sullivan (6.2 rpg) and Gueye (6.1 rpg), the Blazers have out-rebounded their opponents in 11 of 13 games and are 8-3 when doing so.
Under the direction of first year head coach Dusty May, the Owls finished the non-conference schedule with a 9-4 record and won at Illinois last time out with a 73-71 overtime victory.
