Blazers Travel to Baton Rouge for Donni Leaycraft Scramble

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's tennis team heads to Baton Rouge, La. for its second event of the spring competition season, the Donni Leaycraft Scramble, on Saturday.
The tournament will be comprised of squads from UAB, UTRGV, Alabama State and host school LSU.
The Blazers will field a team composed of eight particpants, including Roman Postolka, Michal Lusovsky, Daniel Janko, Jasper Van Kleef, Giovani Pasini, Fernando Vargas, Nikolai Manchev and Tom el Safadi.
UAB looks to follow up a fourth-place finish at the FSU Spring Invite with another strong performance over the weekend. The Green and Gold open play with a showdown with UTRGV at 8:00 a.m. with subsequent matches to follow throughout the day.
