2018 UAB Softball Blazer Bash

BIRMINGHAM - UAB softball is hosting its annual Blazer Bash this weekend, Sept. 28-29, to celebrate the start of the 2018-19 season.
Events for the weekend include a team meet and greet, the Green and Gold Alumni Game and banquet. The banquet is on Friday Sept. 28 at the Westin Hotel Ballroom and includes dinner. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
On Saturday Sept. 29, first pitch in the Green and Gold Alumni Game is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Mary Bowers Field. It will showcase the 2018-19 team against former Blazers.
Following the game, everyone is encouraged to join the softball team at Legion Field at 4:00 p.m. for a pregame tailgate before the UAB vs. Charlotte football game.
