UAB Adds Jenna Olszewski To Roster

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB head softball coach Jimmy Kolaitis announced another new addition to the softball program on Wednesday as Jenna Olszewski has signed with the Blazers.
Olszewski is a transfer from Auburn where she appeared in 25 games with three starts as a freshman in 2018. She will be available to play immediately this coming season.
"We are excited to have Jenna back in Birmingham," Kolaitis said. "She will be an impact player for our program and her biggest contribution will be with her offense. She has big-time juice in her bat and will have a chance to be a run producer for us."
The Hoover, Ala. native played her high school ball at Spain Park and was a three-time First Team All-State selection and was a Second Team Super All-State selection. Olszewski was also selected to All-Region, All-Shelby County and All-Area teams throughout her high school career.
At Auburn, she recorded seven hits, seven runs scored, a double and smacked two home runs while collecting six RBI in 29 plate appearances.
