UAB Begins Final Road Trip of Season at Rice

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB baseball team begins its final road swing of the season when it travels to Houston to take on Rice in a three-game series. The Blazers and Owls begin the series on Friday at 6:30 p.m., followed by game two on Saturday at 2 p.m. and game three on Sunday at 1 p.m. all from Reckling Park.

- Ryan Chandler has been hot at the plate for the Owls as he is hitting .417 with two doubles and a .583 slugging percentage in his last three games.
- Matt Canterino and Addison Moss are the scheduled Friday and Saturday night starters, respectively. Canterino carries a 5-4 record with a 3.08 ERA, while Moss touts a 1-3 mark with a 2.18 ERA.
