UAB Hits the Road for its Final Mid-Week Game

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Coming off its sixth Conference USA series victory over UTSA this past weekend, the Blazers head out on the road to face Jacksonville State on Tuesday, May 2 in Oxford, Ala. at Choccolocco Sports Complex.

First pitch between the Blazers and the Gamecocks is set for 5 p.m. CT.

Jacksonville State (27-22) and UAB met earlier this season in Birmingham, with JSU coming away victorious, 4-1. This will be the 38th meeting between the in-state rivals, as the Gamecocks hold a slight edge in the all-time series 20-17.

This will be the final non-conference game for the Blazers who have already clinched a berth in next week's Conference USA tournament held in Charlotte N.C.
