Blazers Set Spring Match Dates

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB men's soccer head coach Mike Getman announced the 2018 spring season on Monday.

UAB opens its slate on Feb. 24 when it welcomes Montevallo and West Alabama for a doubleheader. The Blazers will kick off against Montevallo at 1 p.m. followed by West Alabama at 2:30 p.m.

The spring schedule continues with Rheinhardt visiting Birmingham on March 3 at 3 p.m. followed by the Winstars on Monday March 5 at 3 p.m. UAB will host a 7v7 tournament on Saturday March 24 before going on the road to face Louisville on Saturday March 31 at 2 p.m.

UAB concludes the spring playing two matches in April. The first is set for Saturday April 7 against long-time rival Memphis at 2 p.m. followed by the annual Alumni Game on Saturday April 14 and 2 p.m.

All home games will be played at BBVA Compass Field.
