Men’s Soccer to Host Open Tryouts

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – In preparation for the 2018 season, the UAB men's soccer team has announced that it will host open tryouts on February 7 at 3 p.m. at BBVA Compass Field.

The requirements for tryouts are as follows:

Students must be currently enrolled at UAB as a full-time student
Must provide a proof of a physical within the last six months as well as a sickle cell test, per NCAA and Conference USA guidelines

Students in need of a physical or sickle cell test can visit the ATG Lab, located at 920 18th Street South. To set up an appointment call (205) 933-0609. The costs for a physical is $55.00 while a sickle cell test is $33.00.

Proof of both a physical and the sickle cell test must be turned into the UAB men's soccer offices, located in the Ullman Building on the second floor, prior to participating in tryouts.
