Two Blazers Win Back Draws at Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational

MIDLAND, Texas – Megan Bertrands and Alexandra Shchipakina each won their respective back draws to highlight competition for the UAB women's tennis team over the weekend at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational.
"We had a good weekend and I'm most proud of the way we grew and improved through the course of the tournament," UAB head coach Mark Tjia said. "We had good results against a stacked field and ended up winning both back draws in singles. Results aside, I was more pleased with our willingness to trust and grow."
