Blazers Finish Day One at Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational

MIDLAND, Texas – The UAB women's tennis team continued its fall schedule Friday on the first day of the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational.

"Overall it was a solid first day of Division I tennis for all our new girls," UAB head coach Mark Tjia said. "Three of them experienced their first college victories on their first day, so I am happy for them. We competed well through the nerves and conditions, and that is the most important thing now.
