Doubleheader with Middle Tennessee Postponed

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Due to inclement weather conditions, the UAB softball Conference USA doubleheader with Middle Tennessee has been postponed until May 3. Time to be announced at a later date.
The games were originally scheduled for Sunday, April 23 at Blue Raider Softball Field in Murfreesboro, Tenn., with first pitch to be thrown at noon.
The two teams played one game of the three-game conference series Saturday night where the Blazers fell, 3-1, to the Blue Raiders after the game time was pushed back twice due to heavy rain.
The Blazers will continue conference play this weekend as they host UTEP April 29-30. A doubleheader will be played Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. and the series finale will be played Sunday at 1 p.m.
