Bowl Game Application Available for Season Tickets Holders and Donors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB football team is bowl eligible and season ticket holders and active Blazer Boosters members have the first chance to apply for bowl tickets to support the Blazers as they march towards their second postseason game in program history.
The city of Birmingham and specifically its season tickets holders have turned Legion Field into a true home field advantage as the Blazers are 5-0 at home this season. UAB's final home game is slated for Nov. 25 vs. UTEP.
Conference USA has six guaranteed bowl tie-ins: The Armed Forces Bowl (Fort Worth, Texas), Bahamas Bowl (Nassau, Bahamas), Boca Raton Bowl (Boca Raton, Fla.), Gasparilla Bowl (St. Petersburg, Fla.), New Mexico Bowl (Albuquerque, N.M.) and the New Orleans Bowl (New Orleans, La.). The Walk-Ons Independence Bowl (Shervport, La.) is a C-USA secondary bowl if the SEC and ACC cannot fill it.
Each season ticket holder received an email with specific instructions on how to reserve tickets for each of the bowls of their choice. If there are questions concerning the email or reservations instructions, please contact the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at 205-975-8221. Once UAB has received a bowl invitation and orders are processed, all tickets will be allocated based on a Blazer Boosters Priority Point System. For donors who are not currently season ticket holders, call Blazer Boosters at 205-996-9969.
When filling out the application, place the number of tickets you would like to request for each potential bowl destination. You will not be charged until UAB has been officially selected to a bowl game. The college football selection show is set for Sunday, Dec. 3.
For non-season ticket holders, an online interest form will be available in the coming days, and tickets will officially be on sale after the bowl selection show on Dec. 3.
