FIU Tops UAB Women's Tennis, 4-0

ORLANDO, Fla. -- FIU wrapped up its 2015 Conference USA season with a perfect 5-0 record after knocking off the UAB women's tennis team, 4-0, on Sunday at the UCF Tennis Complex.
The Blazers are now 6-12 overall and 2-3 in C-USA action and will return home to face Southern Miss on Saturday for Senior Day at George Ward Park. First serve is scheduled for Noon CT.
On Sunday against FIU, UAB was unable to get much started early, as the Panthers won at the first and third doubles courts to take the doubles point.
In singles, Blazers Rachel Daniell, Elaine Simon and Paula Castro picked up losses at the first, third and fourth courts, respectively, to give FIU the 4-0 win.
