Women's Tennis Hosts Southern Miss On Senior Day

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- UAB's women's tennis team will host Southern Miss on Senior Day Saturday at George Ward Park. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m. CT.
Admission to Saturday's match is free to the public. The first 200 fans will receive a free UAB tennis t-shirt and there will be free pizza for all in attendance.
UAB seniors Rachel Daniell and Caroline Faught will play in the last home match of their college careers on Saturday.
Daniell, who has placed on the Conference USA All-Academic Team in back-to-back seasons, ranks third on the team in singles wins in dual match play this season with six on the year. She also leads the team with eight doubles victories.
UAB enters Saturday's match with a 6-12 overall record and a 2-3 mark in C-USA action. Southern Miss enters with a record of 8-10 overall and is 0-4 in league play.
Following play this week, the 2015 C-USA Women's Tennis Championship begins next Wednesday, April 15 in Houston, Texas.
