UAB Softball's Saturday Games Cancelled Due to Weather

ORLANDO, Fla. - Due to inclement weather projected to persist for the remainder of the day, the UAB softball team's two games scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled.

UAB was set to play Miami (Ohio) at 12:15 p.m. CT and Western Illinois at 2:30 p.m. CT, but the games were delayed by two hours and 45 minutes each due to rainy conditions. The persistence of those conditions over the course of the day made it necessary to cancel each game.

The Blazers are scheduled for two more Citrus Classic 2 matchups on Sunday, as they are slated to take on Western Illinois at 10:15 a.m. CT and No. 13/11 Minnesota at 12:30 p.m. CT at the Disney Wide World of Sports.
