Limited Spaces Remaining for 2015 Winter Clinics

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Limited spots are remaining for the 2015 Winter Clinics hosted by UAB softball and head coach Marla Townsend, the program announced Friday.
On Dec. 12, the Blazers will host two hitting clinics at the UAB softball field. Registration for the hitting clinic is $50 per participant. The clinic for ages 6-12 is scheduled for 9 a.m., while the clinic for ages 13 and older will begin at 1 p.m.
The Blazers will host a pitching and catching clinic on Sunday, Dec. 13 for grades seventh and above. The catching clinic is slated for noon with a $40 registration fee. The pitching clinic is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. with registration set for $50 per athlete.
All clinics will be held at the UAB Softball Field.
The Blazers will host an additional hitting clinic at Geaux Play in Pelham, Ala., on Monday, Jan. 18. Registration is $50 per participant. The clinic for ages 6-12 will begin at 9 a.m. with the clinic for ages 13 and older beginning at 1 p.m.
