Women's Tennis At Mercer Gridiron Classic This Weekend

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The UAB women’s tennis team will be back on the courts this weekend when it travels to Macon, Ga. to play in the Mercer Gridiron Classic.
The event will run from Oct. 9-11 and will feature four singles flights and two doubles.
Coach Mark Tjia’s Blazers, playing their third tournament of the fall, will have four players competing in the event: Elaine Simon, Catherine Ragon, Sophie Dodds and Reghan Lynch. The Blazers will pair up in doubles as follows: Simon-Dodds and Ragon-Lynch.
Simon will play in the “A” flight of singles, Ragon in the “B” flight, Dodds in the “C” flight and Lynch in the “D” flight. Simon and Dodds will team in the “A” doubles draw with Ragon and Lynch pairing up in the “B” doubles.
