Blazers Wrap Up Play At Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --- UAB’s women’s tennis team wrapped up action Saturday at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic.

The Blazers posted three wins Saturday in the third round of singles. Reghan Lynch cruised past Kennesaw State’s Gabriela Bueno, 6-1, 6-0, while McKenna Root downed McKenzie Barco of Chattanooga, 6-1, 6-1. The other UAB win came from Elaine Simon who defeated Isabela Castro of Kennesaw State, 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles, the UAB tandem of Root and Elaine Simon gave the Blazers a win in third round action, defeating the Tulane pair of Gaber and Atkinson, 6-4.
