Mississippi State Downs UAB Women's Tennis, 7-0

STARKVILLE, Miss. ---- UAB's women's tennis team fell in its second road match of the year, 7-0, to Mississippi State on Saturday at the Pitts Tennis Centre.
The Blazers fall to 0-2 overall on the year, with both losses coming against talented teams in No. 56 Memphis and SEC foe Mississippi State on Saturday. With the win, MSU improves to 4-1 overall.
UAB returns home to face Kennesaw State at the Samford Tennis Center on Sunday at 11 a.m. CT.
UAB's closest match on the day came at the No. 4 singles court, where Catherine Ragon battled MSU's Louise Ronaldson to a third set, eventually falling 0-6, 6-4, 10-7. UAB's Pardis Kianoush battled hard at the No. 2 singles court, before falling 4-6, 6-0, 6-0 to MSU's Jasmine Lee.
