NSCAA/Continental Tire Poll | Soccer America Poll
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB men’s soccer team appeared in each of the major national polls in this week’s rankings, as released on Tuesday. The Blazers improved to No. 21 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Poll and checked in at No. 23 in the Soccer America poll.
UAB moved up four spots in the coaches’ poll from last week and checks into the media rankings for the first time this season. Last week, UAB topped Missouri State 3-1 at home and won its Conference USA opener, 3-2, at FIU on Saturday.
The Blazers are ranked in the top-20 in both assists and goals in the latest NCAA statistics, checking in at 16th in assists, 15th in goals and 26th in scoring offense.
The Blazers will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Akron for a tough road contest at 6 p.m.
