Softball Announces Winter Clinics

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- UAB softball coach Marla Townsend will host three clinics this winter, announced Friday.
On December 13, Townsend and the Blazers will host a hitting clinic for ages 6-18. Registration is $50 per participant. The clinic for ages 6-13 will run from 9 a.m.–noon and ages 14-18 from 1– 4 p.m.
Following the hitting clinic, Townsend will host a pitching clinic on December 14. Ages 13-18 are welcomed to register. Cost is $50 per participant and the program will run from 1–4 p.m.
Following the holidays, the UAB winter softball clinic season will conclude with a second hitting clinic. Ages 6-13 will participate from 9 a.m.-noon, while ages 14-18 takes the field from 1–4 p.m. Registration is $50 per player.
