Two Wins Highlight Day One Of Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – UAB’s women’s tennis team completed its first day at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic on Friday, picking up a singles win and a doubles victory on the day.
In doubles, the tandem of Caroline Faught and Rachel Daniell defeated Chattanooga’s tandem of Claire Mulyadi and Alison Storie, 8-7 (3). In singles, it was UAB’s Pardis Kianoush who defeated Loyola Marymount’s Logan Finnell 6-2, 6-0 to pick up a singles win for the Blazers.
UAB’s Rachel Daniell fell to Northwestern’s Alex Chatt 6-1, 6-0, while Blazer Amy Lowther fell to Tulane’s Kyla Klier 6-3, 6-2 in singles action on Friday.
