Youth Clinic Day Saturday At WCF

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB men’s soccer team will host its annual Free Youth Clinic Day on Saturday, Aug. 24 at West Campus Field.
Youth between the ages of five and 18 years old are invited to come out to West Campus Field at 4:30 p.m. for 90 minutes of free instruction. Coaches and student-athletes from both UAB and Jacksonville University serve as instructors. In addition, the first 400 participants will receive a free UAB soccer ball, courtesy of Alabama Power.
After the clinic, all participants are invited for a free dinner at 6 p.m. at the field, provided by Full Moon Bar-B-Que.
Following the dinner, the Blazers will take on Jacksonville in their final exhibition match before the 2013 regular season. All clinic participants will be admitted free of charge. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
