Softball Announces Fall Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--The UAB softball team will host three teams at the UAB Softball Field this fall, and admission is free for all games.
The fall schedule will kick off with a doubleheader against Wallace State-Hanceville on Friday, Sept. 21 that will start at 4 p.m. CT. The Blazers will then host Miles College on Oct. 2 at 4 p.m. CT before a double-dip against Calhoun Community College on Oct. 3, which is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.
UAB will wrap the fall schedule on Oct. 9, again hosting Wallace State-Hanceville for another twin bill at 6 p.m.
The Blazers finished the 2012 season with an overall record of 37-22, and earned their third-straight bid to the NCAA Championship.
Before the schedule is underway, the squad will host the 11th annual Blazer Bash on Friday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. CT at the Alumni House located at 1301 10th Avenue South. Admission is $25 per person and covers the meal and a team t-shirt.
