C-USA Softball Title Game Moved To 10 am Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The start time for Saturday's Conference USA Softball Championship Game at UAB Softball Field has been moved up to 10 a.m. CT because of the chance for inclement weather.

The contest was originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. start but has been moved up in an attempt to avoid rain projected to move into the Birmingham area.

The matchup between No. 1 seed Tulsa and No. 3 seed Marshall will be televised live by CBS Sports Network.

Tulsa locked up its spot in the championship game with a 4-3 victory Friday afternoon over No. 5 seed Houston in the first semifinal contest. Marshall squeaked past No. 2 seed UAB, 3-2, in 10 innings in the nightcap.
