Men's Soccer To Host FESA of El Salvador

BIRMNGHAM, Ala. - Defending Conference USA champions UAB will close out the spring season when it welcomes FESA Academy of El Salvador on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at West Campus Field.
FESA, one of the top training grounds for future professionals in Central America, is currently closing out a US Tour in which they have faced other college teams.
The FESA program has produced seven players on the El Salvador Olympic Qualifying team, including five starters and two of the three goal scorers. The club also boasts of seven alumni playing in Spain's La Liga, as well as two in the Mexican Primera Division and two in MLS.
FESA is a five-time champion of the Menedy Cup in Guatemala as youth champions of Central America and has won numerous other international events.
Admission to the contest is $8 for adults and $5 for UAB students and youth.
