Men's Golf To Close Out Fall In Hawaii

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB men's golf team will close out the fall schedule Nov. 5-7 at the Warrior Wave Intercollegiate presented by St. Regis Princeville Resort at the Makai Golf Club in Princeville, Kauai.
The 15-team field includes Baylor, Cal State Fullerton, East Tennessee State, Fresno State, Georgia Southern, Hawaii, Indiana, North Carolina State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, UAB, UC Irvine, San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, and Xavier.
Three teams in the field are in the Top-50 of the rankings by Golf Week: No. 34 San Diego State, No. 39 Indiana and No. 44 Georgia Southern.
Senior Hunter Hawkins, juniors Thomas Sutton, Sam Love, and Conner Pratt, and sophomore Paul Dunne are in the lineup for the Blazers this week.
Sutton led the UAB squad at its last tournament, the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate (Oct- 15-16), with a ninth place finish.
Participants will play a total of 54 holes, 18 on each day at the par-72 course totaling at 7,223 yards. The first and second round tee times will start at 7:30 a.m. with an 8:00 a.m. tee time start for the final round.
