UAB Softball Hosts Blazer Bash This Weekend

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The UAB softball team will host the 10th annual Blazer Bash Sept. 16-17 to celebrate the beginning of the 2011-12 softball season. Festivities include the annual Green & Gold Alumni Game and the Blazer Bash/Meet the Team banquet.
The Blazer Bash/Meet the Team banquet will be Friday, Sept. 16 in the Green & Gold Room in UAB's Bartow Arena. The banquet will begin at 6:30 p.m. For more information, please contact assistant softball coach, Lucy Bass, who can be reached by phone at 205-975-1759 or by email at lucy1@uab.edu.
The Green & Gold Alumni Game will be held Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. at the UAB Softball Field.
