Hey Fans!!
This season has been very successful!! We swept UTEP a few week back and they were three very good wins. We then went to play two competitive games against Chattanooga and split with them. We have also split with Kennesaw and beat Jacksonville twice. We had a couple rough weekends with ECU and Tulsa but still took one win from each of them. We then went on to beat Troy and split a series with Memphis. We also swept Marshall to finish the regular season and finish third in the conference. That is just a quick recap of the season where I left off.
For this blog I really just want to reflect on the tornado and those who were affected by it. For those who don't already know, an F4 tornado hit Tuscaloosa and some of the cities on the outskirts of Birmingham. We were fortunate enough to have no one hurt, but we wanted to help so this past week we went to Pleasant Grove and Concord to help with cleanup. It was so heartbreaking and the people who lost their homes still were joyful and thankful. One lady that we helped only had steps left to her house and continued to offer us food and water. It was a good experience for the team because it really shows what is really meaningful in your life. The team helped families recover pictures and clothes. I just want to say God bless those who have been affected by the storm and that everyone will be in our thoughts and prayers!!
