UAB Women's Tennis Versus ACU Rescheduled For Thursday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Wednesday's women's tennis match between UAB and Abilene Christian has been postponed because of rain.
The contest has been rescheduled for Thursday at 8 a.m. CT at the Samford Tennis Center. If weather permits, the match will be played outdoors. If not, it will played played on Samford's indoor courts.
The teams were originally scheduled to play Wednesday morning on campus at UAB, but wet conditions from overnight rains forced the postponement of the match.
UAB (6-7) has not played since March 18 when the Blazers downed Murray State 6-1. Abilene Christian (15-5) has had a similar layoff since a 7-2 victory over Midwestern State on March 20. The Wildcats are currently ranked No. 6 in the ITA Division II rankings.
