UAB Continues Fall Campaign At Steve Baras Fall Classic

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB women's tennis team will compete for the third straight weekend with a trip to Chattanooga, Tenn., for the Steve Baras Fall Classic, which gets underway Friday at the Champions Club.

The tournament also features players from Chattanooga, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Lee University, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee and Wofford.

This weekend's format includes flighted play in both singles and doubles with the action continuing through Sunday.

The Blazers have already competed this fall at the Blue and Gray Classic in Montgomery and the Roberta Alison Fall Classic at Alabama. The team will also participate in the Rice Fall Classic before the ITA South Regionals late in October.
