UAB Spring Football Game Coming Up Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB football team will hold its 2010 Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 17 at West Campus Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
The Blazer football team is just one of several UAB squads that will be in action on campus that day.
The UAB softball team will play host to UCF at 1:00 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader. Admission is free and a special fish fry lunch will be served starting at 1:00 at the Softball Field. The lunch is free to UAB students and $5 for fans. Fans are asked to call (205) 975-8593 to RSVP for the fish fry.
As part of the Spring Game festivities, former Blazer quarterback Joe Webb and UAB's legendary basketball coach Gene Bartow will sign autographs following the game.
In addition to the football and softball teams being in action on April 17, the Blazer soccer teams will also hold their annual alumni games at West Campus Field. The UAB women's soccer team will play at 1:00 p.m., followed by the UAB men at 3:00 p.m.
